Welcome to the International Shark Class Association (ISCA), the governing body of the Shark 24 one-design keelboat.
The Shark 24 is a recognized class by World Sailing and is one of the largest one-design keelboat classes in the world, with over 550 members and active National Associations and fleets in Canada, Austria, Germany and Switzerland as well as active boats racing from the US and the Netherlands.
Regular regattas are held on the Great Lakes, the St Lawrence River and on the large lakes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The World Championships are held every year with two years in Canada and moving to Europe every third year.
The purpose of ISCA is to promote and further the interest of the Shark Class throughout the world by:
a) maintaining the one-design character of the SHARK 24
b) coordinating and managing the affairs and rules of the Class,
c) making recommendations on the control of the licensed builders,
d) encouraging and coordinating both national and international competition and cruising in the Class, and
e) providing relevant information to members of the Class associations.
