2020 Shark Worlds in Montreal
Notice of Cancellation
It is with disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 Shark Worlds which was originally scheduled for June 2020.
Following the postponement announced in March we have been monitoring the progression of the Covid-19 situation and looking for solutions to numerous issues that it created in the context of running the regatta. It was important to the committee that we would be able to offer competitors an event that would support great racing and social activities. It’s these aspects which make a worlds event complete and memorable. It became clear many of the critical issues were impossible to manage and so this decision has been made.
We hope all Shark sailors can get on the water soon and look forward to inviting you again to Montreal in the coming years.
