A personal message from Chet Bates,
We now have six Sharks very actively racing twice a week, down
here at Dunkirk. Our secret being very short races, an
open crew policy, and of coarse Sharks. The problem with this
is that were having trouble differentiating between the fun of
racing Sharks and the development of sailing skills. What a
beautiful problem to have.
At
present I have a small supply of white or black decals for those of
us that enjoy racing Sharks. They
measure about 10 cm. high and 7 cm. wide.
You may start seeing them as skippers and crew start sporting
them on their left rear bumpers or under the left rear break lights. Now
that they are out there getting the message
across that the driver of this car likes sailing Sharks, I think
we should export the idea to the International and Canadian
Associations. There are
a lot of us out here.
I
have given decals to our skippers and crews just to get the
ball rolling. As they catch on I think $1.50 is a better than
fair price for them. They certainly fit our need to
exhibit pride in a sport we love. I'll send separate e-mails
with a picture attachment and further particulars to anyone showing
an interest in these decals.

Subject: Shark Decal
Fellow Shark sailors,
I think that CSCA members are justly proud
of the Sharks they sail and that this decal is a non intrusive way to
say just that as they drive down the highway. These decals
measure 10cm high and 7cm wide, can be purchased in any color and any
amount. My printer already has the forms ready to run. He did
two dozen for me as a promotional thing and he wants to learn how to
sail with that group down in Dunkirk harbor. Cody Britton,
Phone 716-672 sign(7446) lots of 100 for $150.
