Subject: George Bill I haven't been to the site for a while because of school and work
comitments. I logged on tonight to see the tribute to George. I
remember as a kid in the 60's going with my dad to Niagara on the Lake to
see George about every two weeks or so. My dad, Jack Lee sold Sharks
out of Rochester, New York. I had lots of fun wandering around the boat
yard seeing how the boats were made. My dad bought #188 in June of 65.
He named her Hammer Head. I went with dad when he went to see the boat
for the first time. It was sitting on its keel alone with no cradle
supporting it. My dad walked up threw his arms around the bow, needless
to say it's been a love afair with the boat since then. I now skipper
the boat for dad because he can't see well enough to sail, he also had a
stroke. I have been a Shark sailor since I was 4 years old, this is my
38th season and dads 71st. Anyway, I drink a toast to George and I 'm
glad I got to meet him. Steve Lee

Subject: The Hammerhead, #188
Hi all, I crew for this beautiful amazing boat, owned by Jack Lee from
Rochester, New York . You will probably hear from Jack's son , Steve, soon
to add to the history of the Hammerhead. This picture was taken by someone
on another Shark during a race on Lake Ontario, I understand. Regards,
Maureen Outlaw
