Shark North American Champions

NOTE:    The Shark North Americans were first held in 1980 and traditionally were then held in those years that the Worlds' were in Europe, to compensate for one less counter regatta in North America.  Thus the apparently incomplete Championship years.  Since 1994 the North American's have been held more frequently, sometimes, but not always, in the same year as the Worlds.
