"Shark World Championships" have been held regularly for over twenty
five years, with the
location alternating between Europe and North America. The most recent events
have been held
in Canada, Austria and Switzerland.
There are about 2500 Sharks worldwide with fleets in Canada, The United States
of America,
Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Finland and Holland.
The Canadian Shark Class Association, which represents over 350 active Shark
sailors in
