Dear Renewing Member,
Thank you for your continued support of the Canadian Shark Class
Association. Your membership allows us to maintain a healthy, active class
association. ISAF has recognized the Shark as a “Classic Yacht” which
has drawn many new members and helps to keep up the value of your Shark.
We encourage you to renew your membership promptly. If you are a racing
sailor, you are required to provide proof of membership in the form of
your card, sticker and measurement certificate at all CSCA sanctioned
events to be eligible to race.
Our membership year is currently January 1 through December 31.
Renewals should be posted to arrive as early as possible in the New Year.
Cards and stickers will be mailed to renewing members on two occasions
only:
mid March, 2002
mid April 15, 2002
To allow sufficient time for the mail to be routed from our post box in
Toronto to our Secretary in Niagara, and for time to prepare the
documents, we suggest renewals be postmarked not later than February
28, 2002. We cannot make any guarantees on behalf of Canada Post. We
will not alter our production schedule unless there is postal strike. Any
renewals not received in time to be mailed to schedule will be held until
sufficient renewals are received to warrant a mass mailing.
This is the only notice you will receive. A membership form is
available for download on the website-www.shark24.org.
