Wondering what size motor would be the best for my shark. Just cruising in and out of harbour and just would like to know what hp motor would be able to push the boat through the wind and waves. Would prefer a smaller motor but dont want to under power. Mainly to be used on the Ottawa River for day trips. Also, with the transom plate to water length of 13 inches is a 20 inch longshaft sufficient?
