It is a 1968, and is missing some hardware, but has a sound hull. Has not been sailed since 1986 or so and has been parked in a guy's yard on a robustly built trailer. I have a limited budget, and I am trying to do what I can to get this boat sailing again and make it into my "new" boat. I am looking for: 1) Main in condition good enough for cruising. 2) Working Jib or Genoa in condition good enough for cruising. 3) A boom. 4) Dimension of turnbuckles for shrouds. 5) A rudder. (Although, can probably be built easy enough.) 6) Cushions. I have a few things that might work as a trade, if anybody is interested in them: 1) An "Arrow" sailboat hull. It is dirty, but floats. There is a leak at the centerboard pivot pin, I think. (Was taking on water after sailing for a while, but we never figured out where it was coming in.) C/W boom, mast, sails, rudder, and centerboard. Harken furling gear on the jib. Sails in unknown condition (hasn't been sailed in 10 years). 2) 2 horsepower Johnson outboard motor, standard shaft, of the khaki green vintage. Was running when put away, stored with oil in cylinder. Transom clamp is broken and will require replacement. 3) May be willing to negotiate on a late 1960s vintage Diller-Schwill 16, Hull and sail number 19. Good starter boat. Hull is in sailing shape, but requires the transom core replaced. It is ugly looking (cracked gelcoat on deck due to manufacturer putting it on too thick), but sails well! C/W a roadworthy trailer with LED lights, newer bunks and rollers, and upgraded (bigger) tires. All flotation foam has been removed and replaced with new foam in the last three years. Original sails, and they could use recutting or replacement. Boat is wired for electrical system using 2x32Ah Wheelchair Gel Cells. Has running lights, cabin and cockpit lights, bilge pump (forward compartment), an accessory plug, and provisions for a full-size VHF in the cabin. Will come with antenna cable and wiring for VHF, but no radio or antenna. Thanks.
