Permanent lifting rig

            This rig consists of four 7x19 3/16”Dia SS double eyed wire
            strops, each threaded, on a sleeve, through one eye and bolted
            through the cabin locker walls, at deck level, by 3/8” SS bolts.
            (see enlargements)  The sleeves allow the strops to swing freely
            to be raised for lifting and to lie fore and aft along the cabin sole
                                             when not in use.

            For lifting, the forward and after pairs are pulled up and joined together with a shackle
            and the two shackled again by a larger shackle which is connected to the crane         hook.
            Bolt positioning is critical.  As shown, the boat lifts level with the mast in and the
            motor on the transom and, with the mast out, with the motor forward, in the cabin.
